Wayne Lennon

Wayne was born in Hamilton Ontario in 1942. Moved to San Fernando, California in 1954. Served in the US Army from 1961-1964. He and his wife Colleen moved to Seattle in 1982 (married for 48 years). Loved music from 8 years of age. Grew up on 40's big band music and fifties rock and roll. Has a longtime friend (Dan) who used to be a volunteer deejay at KSER. In 2012. Said friend convinced Wayne to take over Floating World (every fourth Sunday) in same year. Been there ever since. Knew nothing about world music but has become a big fan over the years. No favorite countries but loves Brazilian and African beats. Occasionally has the honor to sub for Leilani on Passport which features eclectic world music on Friday nights.
