Max Stephens

Max Stephens is a multidisciplinary musician and artist based in Everett WA and host of the Tide Pool on KSER - the show that celebrates the wonderful world of instrumental music. Max has been a consistent figure in the Everett and Seattle music scenes since he was in his teens as both a musician and an audio engineer, regularly releasing music as a solo artist and as a collaborator. He is endlessly fascinated by the world of sound, and amongst many others, the sounds he loves include free improvisation, bird calls, and recordings from oblique synthesizer systems. He lives with his wife Danielle and their cat Izzy. In his free time Max enjoys skateboarding, camping, reading, and generally being outside as much as possible.
